Travelers can get to Bethany Beach easily from the Washington, DC area by taking Rt. 50 east to the scenic drive of Rt. 404. From Rt. 404 there are many ways to reach the eastern shore. The preferred route is to take Rt. 404 East to Rt. 113 South to Rt. 26 East.

Travelers that prefer a more direct route may choose to drive on Rt. 50 through Ocean City, MD to reach Bethany Beach.
